Graphite and oil on wood, aluminum and iron
26 x 6 x 6 cm
In this work the two parts of the same beam of patined pine are joined again mechanically by an aluminum strip. The elevated position of the piece on the wall refers to the place reserved for the Christian crucifix in a domestic room. In this same direction, the title refers to the etymological root of the word religion, which has its origin in the Latin verb religare, which means tying strongly, re-uniting.
